A person who meets the qualifications for Regular membership and has passed the Contact Lens Registry Exam and maintains the certification requirements set forth by the National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE). |

Regular Membership | ||
A person who possesses two years of contact lens fitting experience and/or two years of college advanced education above the high school level in the field of ophthalmics, who practices within the statutory requirements of the state where his/her practice is located. | ||
Affiliate Membership | ||
A person who does not meet the requirements for Regular Membership. This includes those individuals who provide components and/or services to the contact lens industry as well as those individuals currently pursuing an education in the contact lens field. | ||
Retired Membership | |
A person who is no longer actively involved in fitting contact lenses or eyeglasses and has been a CLSA member in good standing for at least the previous five years. | |
Associate Membership (Corporate) | |

A company which provides components and/or services to the contact lens industry and which is determined by the Board of Directors to be a company which reflects positively on the contact lens industry. | |
Foundation Donation Contributing $250 to the CLSA Foundation will pay your dues for one full year. Contributions to the Foundation are deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes to the extent provided by law. |
